[otb-users] Problem with TrainImageClassifier svm

Hi,

I want to do a land cover map using orfeo. I am following this
tutorial

I am trying to do a svm image with the TrainImageClassifierlibsvm tool but
it does not give me a svm image. It does not show any error message but it
does not save any image. Without this svm image I am unable to run the
image classsification tool. Can anybody help me, is there another way to do
it?

we're currently updating the OTB QGIS plugin which

It is not for now easily installable for user but in the meantime I would
advise you to download the OTB binary installer here:

https://www.orfeo-toolbox.org/download/

You'll just have to unzip it and launch monteverdi.bat or mapla.bat to giet
access to application user interface.

You'll see the TrainImagesClassifier in the list of available application
where you'll be able to select the SVM algorithm as input. Most of the
parameter settings explained in the tutorial should be applicable in this
interface outside QGIS.
